Campaign for Home Working is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to promoting the use of remote access and home working by UK business.
CfHW believes that home working is one of the most important things that the Government can promote in order to meet it's green targets. Home working allows people to work without commuting, reducing traffic density and related carbon emissions. Working from home also allows for a greater work-life balance, leading to happier, more productive staff.
This site aims to provide information for employers about all aspects of home working, from technical details of how to implement to government information on grants and incentives to encourage home working. Please register and we'll keep you informed of any updates and news.
We'll provide practical information on how to set up remote access to allow home and remote working for any size of organisation, as well as information on how to keep these lionks secure, and some of the pitfalls you need to watch out for. There will be a disucssion board to allow you to get help with any questions you may have from the experts who man and use this site.
We're also, as you might expect, campaigning and lobbying the government to make home working easier and more acceptable within the UK. We have to ask - why does the Government not actively encourage home working if, as it claims, it has a serious green agenda. Could it be because they haven't figured out how to tax it yet?
This campaign is funded by contributions from industry and advertising. If you would like to contribute or advertise on the site then please contact us using the link on the main menu.
